Augustana College Department of Geology records
The Department of Geology is part of the natural sciences division at Augustana College. Faculty offer classes on various geological topics, as well as running research trips to different parts of the country. This department is one of the oldest natural science departments on campus. Materials in this collection include correspondence, articles, newsletters, memorials, photographs, pamphlets, periodicals, alumni registers, news clippings, a museum register, and a geology t-shirt.

The Office of Speech Communications is part of the Department of Speech Communications. The office keeps track of official department papers, regulates graduation requirements for students in the department, and assists students and faculty in the department. Materials in this collection include a curriculum analysis, blank forms, department meeting agendas and notes, expense reports, major requirement list, correspondence, and reports.

Augustana College Economic Education Workshop teaching packets.
The Augustana College Economic Education Workshop teaching packets were assembled at workshops held by Augustana between 1958 and 1963. The packets are primarily designed to assist elementary school teachers teaching the basics of economics to students in kindergarten through third grade, with some materials focusing on junior high school students. Augustana College’s Economic Education Workshops were directed by Marcus Bruhn, chair of Augustana’s economics department.
Augustana College Evening School publicity materials
Augustana College Evening School offered courses for graduates of high school. The classes were held in the evenings during the regular school year. This collection consists of programs for the Evening School.

The Augustana College Faculty and Committees records/minutes contain materials on the activities of the Augustana faculty. The collection includes minutes in the form of notebooks, loose sheets, and bound volumes. There are restricted materials in this collection – mainly student personnel committee records (meeting minutes and reports). The materials are restricted to protect the privacy of former students and campus organizations.
